GWF Wins Africa Regional Award at Reimagine EducatioN

Today our team is excited to share the news that Good Work Foundation (GWF) has been named the Regional Award Winner (Africa) at the Wharton-QS Stars Reimagine Education Awards 2018, which took place in Philadelphia on 4 and 5 December. GWF also received a silver award in the ‘Arts and Humanities’ category. Both awards were in recognition of our Open Learning Academy.

Arbor Month– Greening South Africa by Planting 1810 Trees with Konica Minolta South Africa

JOHANNESBURG – September 29, 2017 - In September, Konica Minolta South Africa (KMSA), a division of Bidvest Office (Pty) Ltd., and Food & Trees for Africa (FTFA), committed to plant 1810 trees in three provinces across South Africa. Trees were planted at schools, clinics and community centres in Johannesburg, Newcastle and Polokwane. Johannesburg saw the planting of 900 trees, Newcastle and Polokwane were each allocated 450 trees, which were planted at identified beneficiaries.
